Leonardo is one of the renovators of the Theology of Freedom.
In a round table discussion about religion and freedom in which Dalai Lama and myself were participating at recess I maliciously, and also with interest, asked him:
“Your holiness, what is the best religion?”
I thought he would say:
“The Tibetan Buddhism” or “The oriental religions, much older than Chritianity”
Dalai Lama paused, smiled and looked me in the eyes ….
which surprised me because I knew of the malice contained in my question.
He answered:
“The best religion is the one that gets you closest to God. It is the one that makes you a better person.”
To get out of my embarassment with such a wise answer, I asked:
“What is it that makes me better?”
He responded:
“Whatever makes you
more compassionate,
more sensible,
more detached,
more loving,
more humanitarian,
more responsible,
more ethical.”
“The religion that will do that for you is the best religion”
I was silent for a moment, marvelling and even today thinking of his wise and irrefutable response:
“I am not interested, my friend, about your religión or if you are religious or not.
“What really is important to me is your behaviour in front of your peers, family, work, community, and in front of the world.”
“Remember, the universe is the echo of our actions and our thoughts.”
It is a matter of options.”
Finally he said:

I found an article , I want to share it.
There is a different description about law of attraction. Have you seen the website of Kevin Hogan. I have copied some parts from his webiste. Some thoughts may be similar to some of my posts about law of attraction.

Actually I have read the book, and it is a good summary of all law of attraction books. So, if you want to read a on the law attraction, this book is a good one.
But I think goal setting is better for me.

SMART goal setting-Attainable, achievable
SMART-Attainable (achievable)
When you set or identify your goals which are most important to you, you should start with the goals that yourself will believe it.
If you say I want to be a millionaire, it is achievable but if you say I will be a millionaire next month and you do not have even a few buck in your pocket then it is unrealistic.
So define a realistic goal.
When you identify a realistic goals you begin to figure out ways you can make them come true. You start working on the ways how to reach that goal.
Goals you set which are too far out of your reach, you probably won't commit to doing.
It is like climbing the stairs. If you think that you will climb the stairs of a building in a second it is not possible. But you can start with the first step and continue. In every step (goal ) that you achieve you will also believ that you will go to the last step.
The feeling of success helps you to remain motivated.

Instead of Law of attractions systems and think, wait, visualize, ask from universe :) just move and set the goals.
I like the classical S.M.A.R.T. goal setting system. It is more logical to me.
So what is creating smart goals.
When you define the goals it should be:
S : Specific
M : Measurable
A : Attainable
R : Realistic
T : Timely
SMART is one of the better and simple systems that I like showing how to reach your goals.
Law of attraction
All the net and bookstores are full of Law of attraction books and blogs.
I think the system works for the writers. They really attracted money by writing a book about law of attraction.
I do not know anybody get rich by reading those books.
Try it!
Get a picture of what you want, look at it and think you own it.
